DAIMSR in continuation of its academic endeavor also believes in contribution towards some social cause. The activity is carried out to help to uplift the social status of the deprived class of the society. The Institute concentrates its efforts to help the organization, who works in the area of providing financial and related help to deserving students, who are unable to continue their studies, due to their weak financial position. The area in which the Institute focuses its attention is to help the organization who works for the betterment of physically and mentally challenged children.

To achieve the above objectives, the Institute undertakes the following Activities / Programmes


  • It is an activity carried out to raise the funds through alumni of the Institute and others to support social cause for upliftment of under–privileged section of the socity.
  • The institute also organizes some cultural progrmmes of well-known repute.
  • The Institute also promote the selling of various products produced by the physically, mentally challenged children. The products include
  • "DIYA" - Hand made lamps used in the festival of Dipawali,
  • "Floral Bouquet" Handmade artificial "Floral Bouquet".
  • "Rakhee" - Hand made Rakhees used in the festival of "RAKSHA-BANDHAN"

The donations collected through such programmes are donated to the concerned organisations


  • Under this activity the faculties & students visit to the orphanage, spend entire day with them. Share with them in various activities of their interest and try to make them happy & smile.
  • In addition to routine financial contribution this activity provides an immense satisfaction to them as well as to the students of college.


  • This activity is all about the collection of old news papers, from the faculties and the students. Selling of this accumulated "RADDI" and donating the proceeds to the concerned organization.


  • Participating actively in various Rotract activities, s.a. Tree Plantation & Cyclethon etc.

DAIMSR actively participate in the welfare of the local community .An unique perspective to learn management is by teaching them Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

As an initiative student undergo a project named "Market Daud", In this project students of DAIMSR are required to sell Rakhis, Diyas and Boquet made by differently able children. The fund collected from this project is donated to Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha.The fund collected from Market Daud Project in year 2010 was thirty six thousand rupees donated to SSS in Abhiyaan Event in 2010.

Its approach towards this multidimensional problem is absolutely scientific, but with due consideration to emotions and sentiments of mentally challenged, their parents and family members, SSS has gained trust of people in taking care of mentally challenged and voluntarism.

Project SMILE

Project SMILE is a long term Social Service Project based under the theme "All we wanna do is bring a SMILE to your face". The project mainly focuses on helping and supporting under privileged school children in districts. The main objective of this project is to help orphans. Project SMILE is a home-grown community arts project that equips students with magic skills to bring joy to the needy in our society. Students learn a new craft and the confidence to perform before others. Their audience experiences the wonder of magic and the affirmation that comes from being loved by the community.

What Project SMILE does :

  • Students will learn and acquire new skills in magic.
  • Students will bond as a team.
  • They will experience the satisfaction of serving the needy in our society.
  • Students are empowered by Service-Learning on which the program is based.
  • Programs are well-rounded and focused on enriching the students’ experience.
