The installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management studies and Research, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur fort was held recently. Dr. Pravin Dahake, President Rotary Club of Nagpur was the chief guest on the occasion. During his address to the gathering he encouraged the students of DAIMSR to organize many Rotary club activities under the aegis of the DAIMSR Rotaract club. He emphasized on the initiatives which will led to betterment of society.

Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar, Dean Academics, in his address briefly explained the importance of the Rotaract club and congratulated the new office bearers and members.

The following students were sworn in as office bearers of the club for the academic year 2018-19: Ronald Joseph as President, Abhijeet Gawande as Vice President, Shivani Paranjape as Secretary and Preshit Kaner as Treasurer.

DAIMSR is associated with Rotary Club of Nagpur since last 12 years. Some of the flagship events conducted by the club are Cyclothon, Nirmalya, Sale of old clothes, tree plantation etc.

From last year’s office bearers Mr. Ujjwal Dupare, former president of Rotaract club, DAIMSR Fort was awarded as best Rotaractor.

On this occasion, Shyam Joshi, Secretary, Devikant Naranje, treasurer, Captain Anil Ambatkar, Director youth service and former president of Rotary club were also present.

Dr. Rashmi Gupta, Incharge Rotaract Club, Prof. Amardip Kurukwar from DAIMSR were also present during the installation program.
