DAIMSR always believes in doing the right thing in best manner. This year AAKARSHAN (traditional day) was held on 20 th December 2018. On this day, students wore different traditional and ethnic clothes. Several boys were dressed in Punjabi Sherwani, Kurtas, Modern Dhotis and traditional trendy clothes whereas girls were dressed in bridal dresses, gujrati, Marwari, Kashmiri ethnic dresses. The students were rewarded for their efforts. In girl’s category, first prize was awarded to Vidhya Soni (BBA), Vishakha Maske (BCCA) and Vishruti Warudkar (MCM). In boy’s category, Sudesh Mandaokar (BBA), Abhijeet Roy (BCCA) and Tushar Brahmankar (MCM) were awarded first prize. All the students of BBA, BCCA and MCM participated in the event with great energy and enthusiasm.

In 2018 DAIMSR had planned two new sub-events under AAKARSHAN Mehndi tattoo and Nail art in which Soumya Choudhary (BBA), Harshada Bhajipale (BCCA) and Priyanshi sahu (BBA) were awarded first and second prize respectively in mehndi tattoo. While in Nail art Sakshi Bisen (BBA Sem 6) and Roza Veergandham (BBA Sem 6) were awarded first and second prize.
