DAIMSR Conducted ISR Activity

DAIMSR as an institution believe that its role involves something more than simply imparting knowledge and skills to the students. In order to continue the tradition of social responsibility B.Com (Computer Application) Department of DAIMSR, planned to distribute eatables and hygiene kit consisting of Biscuits and Soaps to the underprivileged kids living on the footpath near Maharajbagh area who were the most vulnerable during the lockdown. So 20 students from BCCA Deparment in co ordination with faculties visited the the jhuggis near the area and distributed the kits to these children. The students also heard the plight of these street children and assured them a helping hand in future too. The event was highly successful as the efforts intended to inculcate a sense of empathy in the minds of the students was clearly visible from their contented faces.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Kothiram Girsawale, Dr. Pritichhaya Tamboli and Prof. Sheetal Nafde in Presence of Dr. Monika Jain HOD BCCA Department. Dr. Monika Jain appreciated the efforts of faculties and students by congratulating them for successful conduction of the event.
