Dr. Mujahid Siddiqui is currently working as a Faculty Member with Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research and is associated with the institute for over 13 years. He is Mechanical Engineer who has worked across five sectors in various capacities. He began his career with HCL as Management Trainee. After two years stint with HCL shifted to Dubai where he worked with Technical Consultancy Division of PFEIFER Germany and looking after operations in 6 Countries in the Gulf.
On his return to India, he began his own business in India dealing with Distribution and Advertising & Marketing and after four years of period in business shifted to Academics. He has also worked with S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, before returning back to DAIMSR. He is currently the Advisor to Entrepreneurship Cell of DAIMSR and is the founder of Entrepreneurship cell in the institute. He is also Coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as also holds the Charge of Consultancy Wing of the Institute.
Apart from a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Siddiqui holds Master degree in Management, a Master’s Degree in Law and is a Postgraduate in Psychology and Journalism. He holds a Ph.D in Management. He is also qualified UGC-NET in Management.
Apart from teaching Financial Management and Business Law, Dr. Siddiqui is is also inviolved in providing consultancy to three industries.
His area of interest in research, Consumer Laws, Quality Assessment systems in Higher Education He has presented papers in many conferences on a variety of topics in many institutions including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Indore amongst others.
